episode 1 - rose
AIRED - 26th March 2005
We are introduced to a day in the life of Rose Tyler, a young women who works in a clothes store in London. At the end of her shift she's reminded to take the lottery money to her boss Wilson. Rose hears a noise coming from one of the rooms in the basement and goes looking for Wilson in one of the storage rooms as the door slams closed behind her.
One of the shop window dummies starts moving towards her, Rose first suspects her work colleagues are playing a prank but as she realises there are more dummies coming towards her she backs against a wall, about to be attacked her hand is grabbed by a mysterious man who tells her to "RUN" and escapes into a lift. Introducing himself as The Doctor he saves Rose and lets her go as Rose escapes the building crossing the road the department store has an explosion and bursts into Flames.
Rose her Boyfriend Mickey Smith go and meet a man named Clive who has information about The Doctor, Mickey is captured by an Auton while he waits in the car outside. The Doctor and Rose go on the hunt for the Nestene Consciousness which is using The London Eye to control the Autons. The Doctor is captured but this time Rose comes to his aid and saves the Doctor and a Fearful Mickey who has been help captive. Rose makes the decision to go travel with The Doctor in The Tardis.

The Doctor takes Rose to the year 5 Billion where they land on Platform 5, which is a Space Station set observing the earth as the expanding Sun destroys the Planet. This is Roses first look at Aliens as the space station plays host to aliens who have come to witness the Sun Expanding.
Amongst the people in board is Lady Cassandra who describes herself as the last Human, although she had had so many operations that there is nothing human left. It unravels that Cassandra has sabotaged the platform by dropping the Shields and plans to let all the guests die so that she can receive money for her business ventures.
Rose is caught in one of the observation platforms with the shields down as the suns rays start to come through the viewing screening burning the room to a crisp, Rose gets to the lowest point in the room and is thankfully saved by The Doctor who manages to reactivate the shields just in time.
Cassandra tries to escape her crimes however The Doctor reverses her teleport and due to the heat that is now on the station she ruptures as she hasn't been moisturised in time.

EPISODE 3 - The UNQUIET DEAD

The Doctor and Rose travel back in time to Cardiff 1869. where things aren't quite what they seem at a Funeral parlour. The dead appear not to want to stay Dead.
Rose is captured by the owner of the Funeral Parlour Gabriel Sneed and his servant girl a clairvoyant named Gwyneth. Meanwhile The Doctor teams up with Charles Dickens to find her and in doing so discover the blue vapour that is seemingly keeping the dead alive is actually an alien life called The Gelth.
The gelth want to keep the bodies until they build there own bodies, as they are using Gwenth as a bridge. It appears Gwenth still has a lot of fight in her as she has other ideas and decides to ignite the vapour killing herself and closing the bridge and stopping the Gelth.

Rose and The Doctor decide to return Home, Rose decides to go and see her mum and get cleaned up however the 12 hours that the doctor expects them to have been gone is actually 12 months. Rose's mum Jackie has been worried sick and has suspected that Mickey had killed Rose.
Thats when Rose and The Doctor witness a space ship crash into Big Ben and land into the thames and divers pull out a body of pig that had been modified by Alien technology. The Doctor knows that the whole things seems like a hoax, and he is right as it turns out that some high ranking government members have killed by the Siltheen who have over run Downing Street.

The doctor learns that the Siltheen do not want the earth for themselves but are trying to see it to the highest bidder. The Siltheen plan to get the world to fire their nukes at each other destroying the planet soi that they can sell it as scrap.
Rose and The Doctor meet up with an unlikely hero a politician by the name of Harriet Jones who helps them to save Downing street and who eventually goes on to become Prime Minister. In saving Rose The Doctor earns the trust of Jackie and she allows Rose to continue her travels with The Doctor.

The Tardis heads off course following a signal that is screaming out to the Tardis which materialises in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Doctor and Rose find themselves deep underground in a Museum owned by a Henry Van Statten who is a very rich collector of Alien Artifacts.
Henry Van Statten boasts that he has one living creature which is his prize piece and leads takes The Doctor to see what it is. Much to his horror it is a Dalek that appears to have survived the Time War. The Dalek has been tortured for some time by Van Statten's staff and is bound in chains to stop it moving. Rose is taken to see The Dalek by one of Van Stattens technicians and takes pity on the suffering of the Dalek until she touches it and it absorbs her DNA which causes it repair itself and become active.
Rose is trapped with Adam one of Van Statten's staff and is racing to get away from the Dalek when Rose falls behind, in a surprising move The Dalek spares Rose because it is now aware of sympathy from absorbing her DNA the Dalek destroys itself. Adam goes with Rose and The Doctor to avoid the closure of Van Stattens Vault.

The Doctor, Rose and Adam travel to the year 200,000 and find themselves on board Satellite 5 which is there to control Earth's journalism. However something is wrong The Earth has been held back and development has seriously halted The Doctor suspects that is something on board Satellite 5.
The Editor of Satellite 5 invites Rose and The Doctor to Floor 500 where they are held captive and introduced to a creature the Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe or "Max" as the editor has called him. Unknown to Adam The Doctor and Rose have seen that Adam has decided to have a port installed in his head and is transmitting data from Satellite 5 to his parents answer phone.
Cathica who has been trying to get to Floor 500 decides to get revenge by diverting all the heat which is being pumped away from Floor 500 back towards Floor 500 allowing Rose and The Doctor to escape. The Doctor is so furious with Adam that he takes him straight back to Adams parents house and destroys the answer phone before leaving with Rose.

Rose convinces The Doctor to take her back to the day of her father (Pete) was killed by a hit and run driver, however on a second attempt Rose rushes to her Dads aid and saves him creating a Paradox.
Reapers begin to appear which are designed to there to treat the wound in time and destroy everyone in it. The doctor gets everyone into a church and attempts to get the tardis through the paradox. Jackie and Pete are both at the church with Rose as a baby however when Pete gets Rose to hold herself as a baby it widens the Paradox and a Reaper gets in taking The Doctor with it.
Pete soon realises that the only way to undo all the Paradox lays with a car that keeps driving round the block and disappearing, the car that should have killed him. Pete rushes outside straight in front of the car which knocks him over. Restoring everyone and bringing back both The Doctor and The Tardis.

The doctor is on hot pursuit of a capsule marked as "Dangerous" chasing it in The Tardis through the Time Vortex with Rose when they land in London during The World War 2 Blitz. Rose wanders off following a boy that repeatedly asks if Rose is his mother. Rose ends up holding onto a rope which is attached to a barrage balloon that rises into the air along with Rose above London.
The Doctor isn't having a lot of luck himself as he finds a young girl named Nancy who seems to know more about things than she is letting on and that it is something to do with a bomb like object that fell from the sky. Nancy directs The Doctor too the Hospital to see Dr Constantine who has been treating all of the patients Rose is rescued by a man who used to be a time-agent but has since turned con artist who was trying to control the capsule to get someone to buy it before it was blown up. The man introduces himself as Captain Jack Harkness.
The doctor soon realises that all the patients at the hospital have exactly the same injuries and gas masks that are identical to that of the young boy. Rose and Jack arrive to save the Doctor just as Doctor Constantine begins to transform like his patients before him.

Jack explains to The Doctor and Rose that he used the capsule to lure Time agents to the period in time so because they would pay good money for it, it turns out that the capsule is actually an old medical container however it was empty.
Nancy Heads to the crash site with The Doctor with who isn't sure that medical container was as empty as it appeared and his fears are realised when it turns out that it was full of medical nanogenes. It was these nanogenes that healed the boy after he was injured in the accident however because they had not encountered humans before made some errors.
It is then when the boy turns up along with all the patients from the hospital asking if someone is there mother. It is then The Doctor realises that Nancy is not the boys sister but infact his mother. The boy hugs Nancy and it is then that the nanogenes recognise the parent DNA from Nancy and correct their mistakes. The Doctor gives the nanogenes an upgrade and restore all the patients and Dr Constantine to there full health..just this once Everybody Lives.
Captain Jack takes the bomb into orbit however the detonation has already started on the bomb and there is no way to stop it, fortunatley Rose and The Doctor appear in the Tardis and rescue Jack.

The doctor discovers that Margaret has created a nuclear power plant but designed it to fail and in doing so open up the rift destroying the planet. He also discovers a device that would help her flee the destruction.
Taking the device back to the Tardis Jack thinks he can use it to speed up The Tardis refueling, this turns out to be exactly what Margaret had hoped as an earthquake hits Cardiff. Margaret stares into the heart of the Tardis which forgives her and gives her a second chance at life by restoring her back into an egg and sealing the rift.

Awaking with amnesia The Doctor, Rose and Jack are all separated and stuck in various television game shows. The Doctor is in a version of Big Brother, Rose is with a killer "Ann-Droid" in The Weakest Link and Captain Jack is with robotic versions of Trinny and Susannah in What Not To Wear..
The Doctor and Jack both manage to escape with Lynda who was a fellow contestant in Big Brother, when The Doctor discovers that they are actually on board Satellite 5 (Season 1 Episode 7) and that it's 100 years later but everything has gone wrong again.
This time Satellite 5 is in the hands of The BadWolf Corporation, The Doctor realises he keeps seeing those words around "Bad Wolf" first mentioned by Gwenth (Series 1 Episode 3) The Doctor, Jack and Lynda head to rescue Rose however get there just in time to see her seemingly disintegrated.
Jack later discovers that it is not a disintegration but a teleportation beam and she has been transported to a section of space. It is then that they discover a fleet of 400,000 Daleks and Rose is on board. The Doctor vows to rescue her as the Daleks begin invading Earth.

The Doctor and Jack manage to teleport onto The Dalek ship and rescue Rose, and take her back to Satellite 5. It is here that they find out that the Daleks are being controlled by The Emperor of The Daleks.
The Doctor starts getting to work on creating a Delta Wave which The Emperor of The Daleks point out will wipe out everything living not just Dalek. The Doctor tricks rose into the Tardis and sends her back home to Jackie and Mickey to save her and keeping his promise to Jackie.
Rose is initially devastated to be back and wants to help and can't shake that there is a war going on right now and that she cannot help, but she can't get the Tardis working. After gaining some composure Jackie and Mickey decide to help Rose and try and try to force open a section of the Tardis using at first Mickey's car with no success Jackie comes to the rescue with a tow truck which forces open the Heart of the Tardis.
The heart of the Tardis sees into Rose and see's her wish to return to The Doctor and empowers her with the Time Vortex and sends her back to Satellite 5.
The Daleks have reached the top of Satellite 5 as The Doctor threatens to use the Delta Wave however the Daleks call his bluff and prepare to kill him just as The Tardis materialises the doors open and Rose steps out with the Heart of The Tardis running through her body. Rose destroys all the Daleks using the power of the Vortex and she also brings Jack back to life which unknown to her at the time makes Jack Immortal.
Rose explains that it was her that scattered the words Bad Wolf through time and space allowing her to find The Doctor again. The Doctor see's that the Power of The Vortex is starting going to kill Rose and kisses her absorbing all the power and putting it back into The Tardis. The Doctor takes Rose into The Tardis and heads off leaving Jack behind on Satellite 5.
Rose wakes up not understanding what has happened The Doctor explains and tells her not to worry, as the regeneration process starts he tells Rose to back away, and explains all his cells are dying. It is here that The regeneration process starts and brings in the 10th Doctor David Tennant.
